Every share can be the reason a dog gets out alive, and the same goes for every event hosted, every new volunteer welcomed and every foster checked in on. These four roles shape how Keep Pets Alive shows up in the community: you bring the initiative, and our core team backs you up while you find your footing.
Social Media
Take real ownership of our channels: see a dog in need, make the post, jump into the comments, and rally a whole neighborhood behind a rescue.
- Create and post for our adoptable and urgent dogs
- Answer comments and messages from adopters and fosters
- Update posts the moment a dog is safe
Nextdoor, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, and any new channel you want to build.
Event Leaders
Plan and run the gatherings that bring people and pets together (pet pack walks, info stands, adoption meetups, etc.).
- Pick the date and place, then rally volunteers to staff it
- Host on the day and make newcomers feel welcome
- Share the wins so the whole community sees them

Be the friendly first contact for new volunteers and keep our growing team organized.
